Hello! My name is Ms. Mills or Ms. Melanie, depending on the student. I originally moved to Montana from Idaho, where I was born and raised. I moved to the Flathead area nine years ago. My dream growing up involved me living on Flathead Lake and I am now living at the place I love, the church camp I attended from fifth to twelfth grade, where I work in the summer time as a kitchen assistant/Lifeguard.

I originally attended college for Anthropology, with a focus in underwater Archaeology at LCSC in Lewiston, Idaho and at Boise State in Boise, Idaho. I have my Associates in Liberal Arts.

Working at Dayton Elementary for the last year gives me new insights into my passions for learning along side the students, absorbing the environment in its fullness, and creating memories I’ll cherish forever. I’m excited for the new school year and to be apart of the Dayton community!
