Field Trips

The District recognizes that field trips, when used as a device for teaching and learning, are integral to the curriculum. Field trips are an educationally sound and important ingredient in the instructional program of our school. The state of Montana requires grades 4th – 6th to have 360 more instructional hours. Therefore, some field trips are restricted to upper grades.

Field Trips Schedule

• Dayton Daze Parade – K-6th – September 9th
• Pumpkin Patch & State Park – K-6th – October 24th
• Blacktail Mountain Ski Day – 3rd-6th – February 8th
• Blacktail Mountain Ski Day – 3rd-6th – March 7th
• Ag Day – 3rd & 4th – first week of May
• River Honoring – 3rd-6th – second week of May
• Arbor Day Tree Planting w/FLMR – 5th & 6th – May
• Field Day & Native Games – K-6th – June 6th
