My journey to the classroom was unique and long but I am so glad to be where I belong! I grew up in Plains, Montana, but spent most of my adult life running summer camps in Washington state with my husband. When the opportunity to serve at a camp in Rollins came up we jumped at the chance to move back home. I now live in Rollins with my husband, 3 sons, and menagerie of animals. I enjoy being outside at the lake, hiking, camping, and exploring. My favorite subject in school was always math, but now I find joy in helping students discover what their favorites are. One of my goals is to encourage each student to grow and stretch their brain to enjoy things that feel hard at first. I’m so excited for this year at Dayton!
