I have wanted to be a teacher since my middle school art teacher encouraged me and helped me find my confidence. That confidence spread to all areas and changed my life. Inspiring students to think outside the box and be confident in their abilities is my desire.
My husband and I met in high school. We have three children, eight barn cats, two dogs, and eight chickens. My two oldest children are in college and my youngest is in middle school. I enjoy reading, crafting, hiking, and camping.

For the last nine years, I have worked in various roles: special education teacher, paraprofessional, technology teacher, high school credit recovery teacher, and middle school art teacher. I am excited about getting to know the students of Dayton Elementary and helping them find their inspiration. I am thankful to be a part of the team of Wild Horses!
